- Wet a cloth or sponge

- Apply rubbing alcohol or oil to the tattoo. Saturate a cotton pad and dab the tattoo.
- Let the liquid sit for a few minutes and gently rub the tattoo.
- Wash the area with warm water and soap. Remove any remaining oil and tattoo residue.
